You need passive voice in the sentence...
If the part that is not underlined contains a preposition followed by the actual subject (the one in active voice), then keep the voice as it is.
Pick A.

Saurabh,

In E " which" refer back to " bloom" that is visible on copper items. But the intended meaning is that "Aerugo" is visible on copper items.

"and which" looks vague...

Gernerally which appears as "comma +which". E does not have that construction in the second part.

So pick A

If you remove the crap from the original sentence, we are left with:

Aerugo is the green "bloom" visible on many copper items, and is produced over the course of time by the exposure of the metal to the oxygen in the atmosphere.

If you choose C, then the sentence looks like:

Aerugo is the green "bloom" visible on many copper items, and produces over the course of time by the exposure of the metal to the oxygen in the atmosphere.

Observe here that the meaning of the sentence changes. "Aerugo is produced over the course of time... " is the intended meaning. But C changes it to "Aerugo produces over the course of time..."

Another reason why I think option E is not correct is because which introduces non essential clauses and "visible on many copper items, and ....." is absolutely essential to the meaning of the sentence.

If we remove the part enclosed within 'which', we have 'Aerugo, also known as verdigris, is the green "bloom"'. This leaves the original meaning of the sentence open to interpretation.

in the second half of the sentence you need produced and not produces, this narrows down to A and E

in E I dont like the usage of which so throw that one out so my answer is A
"Single Malt is better than Blended"
