Hello,
I'm scheduled to take the GMAT in 1 week. I've taken a good number of practice tests with the majority of my scores ranging from 630-690. Two weeks ago I scored a 730 on a Kaplan Cat and last weekend I scored a 660 on a GMATPrep test. However, today I scored a 580 on a GMATPrep test.
I have not scored below 600 in months, so this is pretty discouraging since it's my last practice test before the actual GMAT. My quant score is usually in the mid 40s and my verbal scores fluctuate from high 30s to mid 50s. I've never scored as low as a 27, which I received today on the GMATPrep test. (last week I scored a 37 on verbal on the GMATPrep test).
I'm well aware that I did not pace myself well on the Verbal section on this most recent GMATPrep test, and thus had to move quickly/guess on the last 7 problems (all of which I got incorrect). Typically, I end up guessing on the last 1 or 2 problems.
Given this low verbal score and low overall score, I'm now second guessing whether I should take the GMAT next week as scheduled. I'm aiming for at least a 650.
Any opinions, advice or recommendations are welcome!
Thank you.
