I'm starting to fill out some applications for the schools I'm applying to (which are online - the applications that is) and I'm having an issue/concern about how to correctly indicate my number of years of work experience.
I graduated college in 2006 and began immediately working. This means that when I (hopefully) start an MBA program in the fall of 09, I will have had 3 years experience. On the applications though, they seem to simply ask "years of work experience." So, at the time I'm filling these apps out, which is now, I currently have 2 years. I don't want to put 2 because obviously 3 looks better (and a lot require 3), but I also don't want to put 3 right now and then have them become confused when they look at my resume and only see 2.
Suggestions? It would be easy if I could put something like "2 currently, but will have 3 at start of program," but you aren't able to write out sentences like that. Usually it's just a small box that allows you to input a single digit.
