Hi,
I recently took my GMAT and scored 690 (Q:49, V:35). I have 5.5 years experience in a mobile gaming company. I work as a senior software engineer. I also have Masters in Comp Science from USC with 3.67 GPA and Undergrad from India, graduating with Hons.
Negatives:
- I am 30 years old (don't really know how big a negative this is. My age surely is above average applicant's, but my experience is in line with what b-schools require. I spent 2 yrs pursuing my masters course).
- I don't have any managerial experience, however, I did take part in many high level company meetings that require planning of company's framework etc.
I am considering applying in top 15 B-Schools in US. My favorites are: Haas, Ross, Stanford, Stern, and Columbia. I am also considering applying to the following: Booth, UCLA, Fuqua and maybe Kellogg.
I was hoping if an expert can reply with suggestions or views about my chances. Would really appreciate the feedback.
Thanks,
