i just dont understand.. even if we try the assumption negation technique, the OA doesnt feel right!

I hope you agree that first 3 choices are not relevant here.

Lets discuss D and E.

We need strengthen the argument.

E is giving another perspective to solve the question it is not stregthening it.
D is saying that oldest was found at this place and there are no changes in the climatic conditions so it gives a feeling that this might have been cultivated here and then later regions started cultivating it.

I guess I forgot the difference between a strengthen ans and an assumption ans... was trying too hard I guess!
