Dear Huntting21,

Thanks for your post!

From the basic information you have provided, I'd actually encourage you to apply to HBS 2+2. While a lot of your success will hinge on how adept you are at weaving together your various experiences and describing your future plans (not to mention whether or not can secure a strong GMAT result), I suspect that the HBS adcom would be intrigued with the international angle that is present throughout your work experiences and studies to date.

In other words, I can see that you aren't class president nor the founder of your own start-up, etc - but I'd venture a guess that the scope your international experience (Spain, Vietnam, Nicaragua, Hong Kong, the UN, South Korea [indirectly]) is actually quite rare for a candidate applying out of a US ugrad institution.

To render a final decison on your chances, I'd clearly need a lot more data about the nature of your work experiences, XCs and career-goal specifics, but on the surface I think you have a compelling profile. I cannot stress enough that you should be aiming for more than a 700 on the GMAT (as a 700 would actually be below-average for HBS), but if you can put the time into securing a great score it could definitely be worth giving it a shot.

Best of luck,

Graham
