Study Fatigue

by money9111 » Sat Feb 20, 2010 12:48 pm
I'm beginning to experience study fatigue! i know it's just temporary but i'm taking this weekend off! i'm glad that i decided to prepare for the GMAT early in the year so that I can afford myself times like this... i think it's necessary to do so! i don't have an exam date as of yet so this is perfect timing.. plus I have some birthday parties to attend tonight!

anyone else feel my pain?

In my view you have a perfect preparation as of now.. and and if your experiencing study fatigue..I would say just go for 1-2 weeks break ...and start preparation again...Plan your GMAT date approx 3 months from today ...don't delay much ...otherwise you will gradually loose interest in ur studies and will score less than what u r capable of.
so start ur studies a week later ...take care of ur fatigue..consult a doctor and a counseller too...and plan ur date by today only,..

I think that taking a bit of a break is a great idea. These questions aren't easy and none are exactly the same. You need a sharp mind capable of problem solving in order to do well. I think that rest is just as important as hitting the books. Go away for the weekend or treat yourself. You'll do much better that way. Just as with the tortoise and the hare...slow and steady wins the race. Too much rushing and you'll burn out. That's great that you had the foresight to allow these breaks :) Have a nice rest! And good luck with the study once you get back to it!
