Basically PQR would form a right angled triangle with PR being the hypotenuse

(Q to the right of P and R RIGHT BELOW Q)

PR the hypotenuse = sqrt(X^2+Y^2)

Time taken to travel from Q to R = Distance/speed = Y/Z
Time taken to travel from R to P = Distance/speed = sqrt(X^2+Y^2)/Z

Total time taken = Y/Z+ sqrt(X^2+Y^2)/Z
= Y+sqrt(X^2+Y^2) / Z
