ABCD is a square of side 1 unit. P is a point on AB such that AP:PB = 1:3. If PC and BD intersect at a point X inside the square, then find the length of line segment PX.

PB/CD = BX/DX = XP/XC = 4

PC^2 = BC^2 + PB^2 = (9/16+1)BC^2 -> PC/BC = 5/4

-> (5/4)(BC/XP) = 7/3

-> XP/BC = 15/28
