length = k
perimeter = p
hence width = (p/2)-k or (p-2k) / 2
area = a
and area = length * width
therefore a = k * (p-2k) / 2 or 2a = kp - 2k^2
rearranging we get 2k^2 - kp + 2a = 0
hence E

Used plug and chug. But to avoid messy numbers srcc25anu is much faster....But again plug and chug here and go from bottom to top....Would of gotten it on the 1st one this time.
