does the location of the test matter????

Hi i am taking the test at New Delhi.. from where the test scores are pretty high.... so does this mean that taking the test at a centre where the median score is higher would make me take tougher questions or is it just a myth... I can reschedule my test to a less known and an average test centre.. would it help ....

No, location will not make any difference to the test you see or the score you get. It's the same test everywhere, and you are not ranked against the people who are in the same room with you.

thanks for this info...... by the way my larger query was that does GMAT repository have one central server or its different for different parts of the globe........ so in essence if i take the test in new delhi or new york... it would be the same difficulty level of questions thrown at me as per my performance in the test
