Tried this one twice. Couldn't get it. The 3s just keep cancelling out on me.

The answer is 2ab.

On substituting 'b' all other terms will be cancelled except 'ax'.

This will be:

a(b) - a(-b) = 2ab

Yup. Thanks. I tried it tried it again while doing a bunch of problems from the OG and realized that I overlooked the squaring, which makes -b positive. Have to be more careful.
