One gram of a certain health food contains 7 percent of the minimum daily reqmt of vitamin E and 3 percent of the minimum daily reqmt of vitamin A. If vitamin E and A are to be obtained from no other source, approximately how many grams of the health food must be eaten daily to provide at least the minimum daily reqmt of both vitamins

a. 3
b. 7
c. 10
d. 14

let x is min requirement of A
0.03x is present in 1 gm of food
x of vitamin will be in ? gm of food => 1/0.03 = 33

let y is min requirement of E
0.07y is present in 1gm of food
y of vitamin will be in ? gm of food => 1/0.07 = 100/7

so to have both in min amounts you need have atleast 33 gms of food

1gm = (7/100)A + (3/100)B

You want to have the coefficients of A and B be > 1.

Sub choices, only E satisfies.
