Let's say we are filling each bottle to a fraction which is x/y.

Given x/y(2) + x/y(4) = 4
So x/y = 2/3.
Hence we have to fill 2/3 of each bottle.

So we have to pour 2/3(4) = 8/3 cups of milk into 4 cup-bottle
