Q1 . The menu at the local cafe at X reads as under

Item Price

Taco BC
Sweet dish, Sandwich and Coffee BD
Sandwich, Coffee and Taco CA
Taco, Sweet Dish, Sandwich and Coffee DB

In the price list, each of the entry in the right hand column stands for a two digit no. and each of the different letter stands for a different digit. What is the price of the sweet dish?
a. 6

The sweet dish has two different numbers, so it cannot be B or D. Also, because it has 2 numbers it cannot be A.

The answer is C.
