i was lost

i tried this:
(2k)^(5/16)

then
{(2^5)(k^5)}^(1/16)
next:
[32k^5]^(1/16)

so i did it until here.... was i doing something wrong?

andes1,
U r getting wrong man! The Qs is saying - f(2k)= (2k) ^ 5 / 16 means f(2k)= ((2k) ^ 5) / 16, I think now u can get the idea where u misunderstood the Qs!
