Requesting feedback on my profile

by bhaynskodanda » Fri Oct 02, 2009 9:36 am
I have given the GMAT thrice now, with a maximum score of 660, V - 73% and Q - 76% AWA 6. My career so far (4.5 years) has gone pretty well, and I am currently a Business Development Manager working with a global IT consultancy.

I would like a preliminary list of MBA programs where I'll have a realistic chance of getting through. I can get decent recommendations and my essays don't sound that bad neither.

Thanks

Hi and thanks for your post. Can you share a bit more information with me? What are your short and long term MBA goals? Undergraduate GPA? Do you have any preferences when it comes to location, class size, etc?

Thanks,

Stacey

and thank you for your reply.

my short term goal is to lead front end business development and relationship management in a global geography. business development interests me and is well suited to my abilities.

in short, my long term goal is to lead business development for a global organization, while steadily rising towards senior general management positions.

i completed my computer science engineering degree, first class with distinction in 2005.

my only preference is in terms of location - i would like to study and work in either the US or Europe.

cheers

Thanks for the additional information. You have many schools that could be a great fit. I suggest that you take a look at Tepper, Cornell, Emory, UNC, Georgetown and Darden. These schools have great general management programs which would be a solid foundation for a career in business development. In Europe I suggest looking at IESE.

Best,

Stacey
