Austin has a great rep.
Is there any way you can visit both?

Hello, yes, I have visited both schools and talked to their recruiting people/students. Like said, I know that UT Austin probably has a better overall rep over Rice, but my main concern is over the fact that I'll be in the Houston program (have to due to location) thus limited resources (i.e. main campus activities), also the lock-step format of the UT class is also something I'm debating--Rice offers lots of electives and energy is the area that I want to focus in; UT Austin Houston program on the other hand, offers more of a "general" MBA and none of the classes are in particular energy area.

I was just wondering what did you decided? I am debating between Rice and UH MBAP.
