In triangle ABC, AB = x, BC = y, and CA = y-4. Which of the three angles of triangle ABC is the smallest?

1. y = x + 5
2. x = 6
It takes time and effort to explain, so if my comment helped you please press Thanks button :)

Any triangle's smallest angle is against the smallest side.
here CA = y-4 so it is smaller than AB . Now we have to compare AB and BC
St. 1: x=y-5 so it is smallest side hence sufficient
St.2 : X=8 but no details or relation with y
