Bold-faced questions?

I've read on these forums about a type of verbal question that only appears in hardest bins - boldfaced questions. Can anyone provide an example of this question type?

I have attached a couple of bold face questions from my Manhattan practice test. Manhattan tests have quite a few bold face CR questions.
