How much money is saved by buying a box of a dozen donuts instead of 12 donuts singly?
(A) When purchased in a box of 12, the cost of each donut is $0.05 less than if purchased singly.
(B) The price of a box of a dozen donuts is $2.40.

A. The cost of each donut, when purchased in a box of 12, is $0.05 less than single purchase of a donut.
This means that total amount saved will be $0.05 * 12. Sufficient.

B. We don't know the price of single donut when purchased separately. Insufficient.
