Median of the 5 sales = 330k
Ann total sales = 450k

Some part of Ann total sales need to be take away and the median should remain the same.
I think the for the value of the Ann total sales can change + or - the median, there by keeping the median constant.

So the value of the incorrectly recorded sales = 450 - 330 = 120K

The current median = 360K

After correcting the error the new median = 330 K

Since a median is the third Lowest total

After correcting the error Cal's and Ann's sales changes

Lowest = Dot's = 210K
Second lowest = Cal's = ??
Third Lowest = Ann's = 330 K

The difference in Ann's sales = 450 -330 = 120K

Cal's new income = 190+120 = 310K

The mistake was worth 120K
Always borrow money from a pessimist, he doesn't expect to be paid back.
