mixture fractions

Miguel is mixing up a salad dressing. Regardless of the number of servings, the recipe requires that 5/8 of the finished dressing mix be olive oil, 1/4 vinegar, and the remainder an even mixture of salt, pepper and sugar. If Miguel accidentally doubles the vinegar and forgets the sugar altogether, what proportion of the botched dressing will be olive oil?

Boy boy !! I don't know if am wrong :(
I get 5/12 as the OA

but i don't see that as an option

Vishu

let x be the mix
so vinegar and olive oil together makes 7/8 of the total mix
1/8 is remaining

so 1/24 ,1/24and 1/24 is salt,pepper and sugar

so now x+1/2+1/24+1/24=1 , where x is the proportion of olive oil

solvin for x, 1-7/12=x

x=5/12

I think it should be 15/29.
