Retaking OF MGMAT tests

Hi everyone,

I would like know the scores validity as per MGMAT tests. I gave 6 tests earlier but couldn't scored well just was falling in the pound of 460 to 560 average scores. But once I started giving MGMAT 1A series, I saw tremendous improvements.I got 600 to 650 scores Although I didn't able to recall any of verbal questions from earlier tests but in maths questions I was able to recogonize my mistakes. I jotted down each and every mistakes in first round of tests but still I dont want to fool myself with inflated scores. Pls note that all of the tests were given including AWA. I really want to know that shd I consider my new scores as an improved scores which can refelct in real gmat exam. I can see impovements in 800 scores old one as well


Pls advice.

I'm sure you are improving, the question is how much.

Once you reset the MGMAT tests, the scores become suspect. You are repeating questions that you have done before. You say you don't remember them, but your subconscious would beg to differ.

If you are using 7+ tests at MGMAT and some other tests at 800 Score, you are probably doing too much churning.

That is, you're taking too many tests and just crossing your fingers and hoping your scores will improve.

Real, major improvement will come when you diagnose old problems and take new strategies and methods to heart. If you're doing a thorough analysis of your tests, you will be spending about twice as much time reviewing as you are doing. That is, every 4-hour test that you take, has about 8 hours of review time that you should be tapping. Any less, and you're churning.

You know, I'm not sure where that button went. There used to be one. Maybe it only shows up if you're logged in, or maybe it only shows up if you're reading a post that you have started???
