Answer: E

Can someone please explain the steps to achieve this result?

Thank you,
K
Statement 1 implies that the manufacturer produced 600 * 5 = 3,000 tools in the first 5 days. But we cannot find the value of n; NOT sufficient.

Statement 2 implies that the manufacturer produced 1500 * 4 = 6,000 tools in the last 4 days. But we cannot find the value of n; NOT sufficient.

Combining (1) and (2), the manufacturer produced 3,000 tools in the first 5 days and 6,000 tools in the last 4 days. Again we cannot find the value of n; NOT sufficient.

The correct answer is E.
