IMO E

Tooth and bones are examples of tissues so like is incorrect here
BC out
such as is the correct usage

A
composed of tissues such as T and bone not normally found
"not normally found
" i sgetting linked with bone
which is not the intent

D
their composition, tissues such as tooth and bone, is
how come after composition we are talking about tissues
WRONG

so E IMO should be the answer

"In that" qualifies the previous sentence, while "because" is used to show a simple causal relationship..

Also,
"like" is used to show similarity...

and

"such as" to give examples...

hence E

D has S-V error..
