wood pulp

I picked C too. But I think B is the correct answer for the reason that C is pretty much 180 deg. Here's why -
Japan and WE are choosing to buy wood pulp from the US due to the low US dollar value. This means the two countries are 'money-minded' and will be getting it cheaper in the current economic scenario if buying from the US. The fact the countries are money-minded, cost IS a factor. B says cost is NOT a factor, which is the 180 deg assumption.
Let me know if anyone sees flaw in my reasoning. Thanks.

I picked A which nobody picked. I thought if the output is increasing then input i.e, wood pulp needed would be more. That would be bought from US and hence the US export will rise. Please prove me wrong!

Although I went through the link or urch.com mentioned earlier, I am not convinced at all that the answer is B. B in fact goes out of the scope of the argument, where as C remains in scope, which itself is reason enough to rule out B and accept C as the answer.

Experts!!!..Need help here!!

excatly C does the strengthening by saying "cheaper prices drive europe and japan to buy wood" which is already stated in the arguement

whereas B says "quality of woodpulp would match the quality of paper produced " so IMO B

Pulp is a lignocellulosic fibrous material prepared by chemically or mechanically separating cellulose fibres from wood, fibre crops or waste paper. Wood pulp is the most common raw material in papermaking.
