I am confused with D and E. I found both the choice are correct as booth the choice is true according to the passage.
D is true as it is mention in the second paragraph last line"despite accurately forecasting how the plan would be unsuccessful." and also mention in the last paragraph first line "In both of these instances....critical mistakes"
E is true as it is mention in the third paragraph "Rational behind dismissing the warning included the Japanese would not attack in fear of starting a full scale war, no warships could be sunk in the shallow waters of the harbor, and any advance would be detected before arrival."
Please help me !!
