Sum of X

If the sum of X and 20 is 8 more than the difference of 10 and Y, what is the value of x + y?

A. -2
B. 8
C. 9
D. 29
E. Can't be determine

So, putting it in an equation form:
x+20=10-y+8
Solving this equation gives us:
x+y=10-20+8=-2


Answer is A
