I scored a 710/92% overall.
My breakdown was:
Verbal: 44/97%
Quant: 44/69%
I'm happy with my overall score and I'm not interested in retaking the exam just to improve my quant score. However, my question is whether or not it is worthwhile to use the optional essay question in the application to ensure them about my quantitative abilities. I'm applying to a couple of top 5 schools and a few from the top 15.
I have a 3.8 GPA at a top undergradudate college with a science major. I'm assuming that the admission committee will already be looking at my transcript, so I'm wondering if it'd be worthwhile or not to point out that I did well academically in all of my quantitative courses in college? Or is it better to just let it go?
I appreciate your input. Thanks!
