GMATPrep SW

by haveto » Mon Jun 21, 2010 2:45 pm
Guys,

I know it's not the right place to post this question but there was no other place for general questions so I thought I would do it here.

I appeared for 2 of my GMATPrep tests and so I decided to reinstall it to get some more new questions. But even after uninstalling and reinstalling, it's taking me back to the place where I left my second test.

Do I need to make a fresh login to get the software again? Please let me know.

Thank you.

this happens because the software makes entry in the registry and uninstallation may not remove those entries.
After uninstalling download the registry cleaner from following url:
https://www.tune-up.com/download/
and clean up th registry.
Also, make sure that you delete the directory where u installed the software.

HTH!

You do not need to reinstall GMATPrep to get new questions. Just re-launch one of the two tests; you will be asked whether you would like to resume or start over. Start over and you will have a new test.

Deleting all records actually results in a higher probability that you will see repeats. Once a question is tagged as part of a test, it cannot not be presented to you again until you delete the record. So by restarting one test while the other is still saved, you at least guarantee that the questions from the saved test will not reappear.
