I am B.Tech IT engineering from one top college from India. I had experience of working on various startup projects at my engineering level. I was Technical Head of student club in my college. I have done my own startup and successfully that software sold to other company. Right now, I am working as software developers and technical lead in IT consulting company in my city. Company is not a MNC. My planning is to get an admission into top 20 B-Schools in US. So, What type of work experience is required for that.? Any management, business analysts or any sales experience is required for technical students applying for a MBA to go into management career.?[/quote]

There is no set experience that is required for admission to a top MBA school. Reading this article might give you insight into how school's evaluate your candidacy (https://www.mbaprepadvantage.com/blog/ho ... candidacy/).

For an Indian applicant gaining global experience (whether working abroad, working with international clients, etc.), demonstrating leadership in your roles and having experience beyond the traditional IT roles helps your chances. But nothing is iron-clad required.
