Please have a look at my profile and please tell me if I'm competitive enough to fight for a seat at HBS 2+2 ( my first preference ) or Stanford,MIT Sloan.
Academics:
Mechanical Engg. Student (Class of 2014) GPA: 9.37/10
10th std. : 95.4% and 10+2 std. : 90.2%
I didn't appear for Gmat by now but I expect to get avg. score (around 730+ )in it.
leadership Qualities:
#Founder of an internet based startup (CEO) about to get released.
#Planning Coordinator of nationwide fest for my institute which had a footfall of 1000+ students.
#Academic Secy. at my institute and holding a significant position at Institute's Administration.
Extra-curricular Activity:
#Played Table Tennis on behalf of institute at national level competitions.
#Significant Member of placement cell at my institute.
# Organized various events at my institute both technical and social.
# Member of guidance and counseling committee. at my institute that guides college juniors
Internship at a management institute where I improved certain formulations in Industrial management layout problems.
Future Plans:
Do an industrial internship at india.
Do a research internship preferable outside india.
Be the founder of a self help group at my town.
Can you tell me, if I fullfill all these goals; how far I have a chance for getting in for interview!
Also, can you please tell me if a research intern has a negative impact over my application.
