Optional Essay Question

by kashewman » Fri Dec 29, 2006 10:18 am
Hello,
I had a quick question for you regarding the optional essay. I took the GMAT twice, the first time I scored a 620, 90% M and 50% V and then I took the test again and got a 650 65% M and 90% V. I have an average GPA (3.1) from a top 15 undergraduate university (and a top 5 undergrad business program), and I work in management consulting. I know my GMAT score does not reflect my analytical abilities, do you recommend I write a small paragraph stating so?
Thanks.

You could write a brief statement discussing your quant aptitude, but you need to have concrete evidence to back up your claim (GPA, work projects, etc...)
