Low GMAT Prep Score - Studying not going well

Hi,

It would have helped a lot had you posted your prep test scores and also what you mean by 'ineffective study'. Anyhow if your test scores are quite divergent(read low) from the mark you have set for yourself and also if you feel that studies aren't improving the score, then it would not be a bad idea to give yourself a little more time by postponing the exam date to some other appropriate date. But while doing so, bear in mind the application deadlines for the schools you want to apply to.

My score was a pitiful 390 and it seems when I study my head goes in circles. I don't feel like I learn much or improve after a few hours of studying.

My goal is 600
