I am finding it very difficult to choose what is to be the rows and the columns headings in double matrix method.
In the manhattan gmat guide i found a ques which talks about 2 problems in an exam being right or wrong and they have chosen the columms to be problem 1 right ,problem 1 wrong and rows to be problem 2 right and problem 2 wrong.
however in the next question which deals with men and women guests in a annual party of company x are either the employees of company X or not the employees of company X they have made the colums to be men ,women and rows as employee and non employee.
my question is according to the first type the second men and women question should be rows men employd,men not employee..and columns women employee and women not employee
also what is the meaning of mutual exclusive and how do I make out in any problem what column headings do i select.
