GMATPrep Retakes

by jheller2 » Tue Dec 14, 2010 9:03 am
How many times can you retake the GMATPrep practice tests before they lose their reliability and effectiveness? I took one of the MGMAT practice tests but it is just not the same as the GMATPrep and real GMAT. My test is in just 15 games and I've been getting between 530 and 540 on the practice tests, I need a 600!

Please advise

You can take the GMATPREP thrice before you start seeing many repeat questions. Each section of each of the two GMATPREP CATs has a pool of 250 questions and you'd not see many repeats. On a different note, though MGMAT tests are difficult but I think that you'd be able to learn a lot from the tests,so you may want to take a couple of them.

Well I took the free MGMAT practice exam and I am very curious about it's accuracy, it said I got a 39Q which is the highest I have ever gotten on any practice or real (got a 34Q on the first real attempt, and have been around 33 or 34 on all practices) and the verbal I got a 33 after I guessed the last 7 questions completely randomly, I simply don't want to get a false sense of security from this mgmat
