Hi everyone,

I would be really grateful for an evaluation of my profile. Here are the details:

Recently took GMAT. 760, Q51, V41, IR8, AWA6.

Indian/Female/ 1 year work experience (currently)

I have one year experience as a field engineer in Schlumberger, and recently shifted to a business analyst role in a boutique oil and gas analytics firm. I'd like to do an MBA to get into the Strategy sphere of the Energy sector.

I did my undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, one of the top five engineering colleges in India. I had a GPA of 3.1, but this can be explained by a large number of extra curriculars, including but not limited to being the Editor of the college magazine, directing a play, being a member of the Photography club, participating in Trivia/Pub Quiz challenges, doing freelance graphic design gigs, organizing segments of the college festival, etc.

I've also interned for a summer at a microfinance-related organization.

I'm expecting good recommendations.

Apart from the obvious choices of Rice and Austin (for energy concentration), my target schools are:

- Duke Fuqua
- MIT Sloan
- UC Berkeley Haas
- UCLA Anderson
- Kellogg

Please evaluate my profile. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot.

Faaaaaantastic GMAT!!!!!

But to be honest a bit hard to say whether you are good for top 10, because you still gotta work another two years, and work experience and what happens, an so on is just as important as the GMAT if not more. It's still POSSIBLE for sure, if your work experience is fantastic and you have solid volunteer work, but it's probably a bit too early to do a real full-on eval, as you need to work a few more years anyhow.
