I just took the MGMAT free CAT online and didn't do well at all. I got a 650 whereas my last few tests in the gmat prep and kaplan prep have been around 700- 730. I found the quant part in this test particularly hard and wordy (a contributing factor to the difficulty). Is it just the free CAT that is pretty tough or are all MGMAT cats equally difficult?

MGMAT free test - somewhat hard??
Source: Beat The GMAT — GMAT Strategy |
Hi even I took the MGMAT free test and got a score of 630. I completely agree with your view that the Quant was extremely hard, however the RC was comparatively much easier. Would like to know if the difficulty level of these tests is higher then the actual test.
I have taken my MGMAT exam today and scored 640 (Q43, V35). But my scores have not been that great on other tests also. I got 540 (Q35, V25) twice on Kaplan, 600 (Q47, V26) on GMATprep. I am not too sure how I would fare based on the latest score that I got on MGMAT on acutal GMAT. Any idea? I have my exam in 2 wks (Aug 8th).
I felt Quant was a bit tough especially few Number theory questions but I also made few silly mistakes. I did average on RC, but I did really well on CR. I was getting few bold-faced questions. That's an indication that you are doing well on critical reasoning right?
