Letter of Recommendation

Hi All

I have just requested a Letter of Recommendation from my previous employer. Is it ok if it doesnt have to be on the employers Letter head cuz when I spoke to my manager, he did say that its difficult to get it on the Letter head and that he can send a personal one instead. Also, does it have to be a scanned copy or a hard copy mailed from India to the US?

is there still any school asking for hard copy..i think in reco they ask for official email id...
oh i remember in india IIMC also asks for hard copy reco. but they have given their format, and asked to seal it in a envelope with a countersign on the envelope of the recommender


talk to the school u r applying and check with them
