IMO - D

B, C & E out for use of Economical

A - Is implying thats demographers have to know - Its not must, its not a rule.

Is it D? I think it should be D. B,C,E use 'economical' instead of economic'. Would have to know is the correct tense. So eliminate A.
Thanks,

Hi All,

This SC comes down to Comparison rules, which means that Parallelism will also need to be considered.

1) The comparison is between what demographers "would have to know" vs. "what they know now." Eliminate A, B and E.

2) The parallelism is between "social" and "economic" (not "economical"). Eliminate C

Final Answer: D

I came down to between B and C.
A and D because of "economic"
E doesn't make sense. We need "they do now" not just "now" to get the clear sense of the sentence.

B seems to be like a order stating you have to know. But C seems to suggest: you would have to know.

I chose B as my answer.
