2^x - 2^(x-2) = 3(2^13)

2^x - (2^x)/4 = 3(2^13)
2^x(1-1/4) = 3(2^13)
2^x(3/4) = 3(2^13)
dividing both sides by 3

2^x(1/4) = 2^13
2^(x-2) = 2^13

x-2 = 13
x = 15
