=> Rate of car is 55mph and 1 mile=5,280 feet

Two units: Miles and Hour = Feet and seconds = 55 * 5,280 : 60 min

=> 55 * 5,280 : 60 * 60 secs

=> 55 * 5,280 : 60 * 60 secs = 750 feet : x sec

2nd Property of Ratios: If A : B = C : D, then AD = BC

=> x secs * 55 * 5,280 feet = 60 * 60 secs * 750 feet

=> x = \(\frac{\left(60\cdot60\cdot750\right)}{\left(55\cdot5,280\right)}\) = 9.3 seconds

Therefore, A is the correct answer.
