Hello,
In chapter 9 of the Manhattan GMAT SC guide there is an idiom list which I am going through. I have a question about "Distinction."
It says that "There is a DISTINCTION BETWEEN trends AND fads" is correct. This is fine for me -- it sounds right; no problems.
But then says that "Trends HAVE a DISTINCTION FROM fads" is wrong.
This sounds a little bit awkward and the way I would fix it is by saying "Trends are DISTINCT FROM fads."
Is this correct?
Thanks,
