Hi all,
I am just getting started with my GMAT prep. I am concentrating on the Quantitative section first.

* I reviewed the OG for topics covered by Quant.
* Next, I solved over a week, the 50 questions from the Practice Quiz, included in Chapter 8,Problem Solving, from the Kaplan GMAT premier Program 2007 book.
* I did reasonably well in the Ch. 8 quiz from Kaplan and found that the level of difficulty of the problems in it is very manageable.
* Next, I started with the diagnostic test for the Quant. Problem solving Questions from OG11.
* Having heard that the Kaplan tests are difficult, I expected smooth sailing in the diagnostic test for the Quant. Problem solving Questions from OG11.
* To my surprise, i found the questions to be a lot more difficult than the Kaplan practice quiz I mentioned above. Is this the same level of difficulty as the real test?
* Can you please tell me what your experience is?

Thanks!

GMATPrep is the most accurate representation of the real GMAT test.

From what I remember, the Kaplan practice quiz (not the actual practice test) featured material that was easier than what you should expect on the real GMAT. The Kaplan practice tests, on the other hand, are in general more difficult than what you can expect on the real test.

Best of luck!
