"Parallel reasoning pattern" question on real exam

Hi all,

In NOVA, in Critical Reasoning section, there is a type of question in which they ask us to find a pattern of reasoning the best parallel with the reasoning way of the original sentences.


For example,

Which one of the following illustrates the same flawed reasoning as found in the passage?

a) b)...blah blah.

However I do not see this type of questions in OG.

Have you ever seen this type of questions on your real exams?
