topic : Scandals are useful because they focus our attention on problems in ways that no speaker or reformer ever could.

Scandal, a word that brings notorious film stars, sportsmen and politicians to our mind, are something that have existed since very long. As there reality can be questioned they may prove to be a very good source of underlining key problems being faced by the society, as they provide a real life look into them. Therefore, scandals prove to be really helpful in opening eyes of a society to problems that are overlooked.
Often times we don't focus on matters that lie in front of us because of their implicity. Problems, which prove to be very influential for a society, are not pondered upon because of the inability to understand them without a demonstration of their repercussions. Nevertheless various scandals can provide us with a simulation of their effects and makes us realize their significance. For example of all the discussion or propaganda against marriage one may be deluded in believing that family life is a nuisance and ignore its importance. In this scenario if he observes a scandal about some flamboyant rockstar committing suicide due to loneliness he'll be more forced to change his perception contrary to listening a speech or sermon on the importance of family life.
Human mind has the inherent property to question what is taught to it and is best satisfied with physical demonstration. Therefore, scandals which give an existent example related to a problem will help in understanding the problem better than just hearing about it. Actually, when we listen to speaker we can only see the dimension he is speaking of and those which our mind analyses but a scandal when highlighting a problem provides us with a look on all dimensions.
However, scandals can also be misleading at times as they can be interpreted in different ways and may result in highlighting problems than don't really exist. This can lead the society into confusion and may result in moving our focus from the true problems being faced. Thus, as helpful as they may be in analyzing problems, extracts from scandals should be interpreted in the right way
We can say that scandals are real eye openers to problems that are not thought of much as they provide us with demonstrative approach for their analysis
