Unbalanced 710 (Q45, V42) -- Re-take?

So, I originally posted in the 'I Beat the Gmat' Section of this forum, listing the structure of my process and my score:

https://www.beatthegmat.com/an-unbalance ... 97093.html

I just took this test last week, and after several months of studying, scored a 710 (Q45, V42). The verbal was 95%, which is great, but the quantitative score is only 71%.

I just graduated from UT-Austin last year with a degree in finance. My gpa is a 3.84, and I just accepted an offer to start working with a Fortune 5 Oil and Gas company in a commodity trading analyst position. I don't plan to enroll into business school any time soon. I will probably work for 2-4 years before applying, since my score will be valid for 5 years. In that time, I'll probably be expanding on my extra curriculars and work on strengthening my application in other ways.

My target schools are the top ones: Harvard, Wharton, Stanford, Chicago, etc.

I really want to know whether it would be wise to re-take my GMAT, since my quant was kind of low. I took a total of 5 tests. Here are my scores:

MGMAT 1: Q43, V45 = 720
MGMAT 2: Q43, V39 = 680
MGMAT 3: Q48, V41 = 730
GMAT Prep 1: Q49, V37 = 710
GMAT Prep 2: Q49, V41 = 740

Do you think you consultants think its worth re-taking? Additionally, I would be interested in an admissions consultation, so I can figure out what is most important to work on in the next 3 or so years before I apply. Please let me know of your opinions about a re-take and whether any of you offer a service that I can help me learn more about the intricacies of this process. Thanks.

Well given the time you have, you might retake. Anyhow I would say: don't worry about it now. You have a very good score in the bag. Scores have been moving northward almost every year (Stanford's is up almost 20 points in six years!) So, let's see what happens with you until you apply. After all, your profile is not just your score. If you need a better one later, then you retake. But for the moment, I think you can leave it alone.
