Hi, I just finished the Virtual Manhattan GMAT Course and it was really helpful. Both of my instructors were very knowledgeable. I've written about my experiences with MGMAT in another post. Here is the link:

Both are first-rate companies, so it would come down to the instructor you would get. Though all Veritas and Manhattan instructors are high scorers and are at least competent as instructors, you may find that their styles differ. Ask to attend the first class to see whether there is chemistry!

We let a limited number of students sit in on a first class for free; take a look at the course section on our web site to see upcoming classes and look for the "Free Trial" label. FYI - you are not guaranteed a spot in that course if you are on free trial. If the course sells out before you officially sign up, then you will be out of luck for that particular course.

Go with MGMAT. I'm taking Veritas now and I'm pretty disappointed. I've read nothing but great reviews of MGMAT on this forum; I wish I had gone with them instead.

I have actually taken both courses and have written a pretty comprehensive head-to-head analysis between the two. You can find it here:

https://tmmycgmat.blocked/2008/04/h ... -prep.html

It is a bit long, so you can scroll to the bottom for the summary, or to whatever section you find most relevant to your situation.
