singular and plural

Someone please help me...how do i recognize that a thing is singular or plural ??

in one of Ron's post it was said::

SpaceCraft is PLURAL .... because we can say 1 spaecraft , 2 spacecraft ??

how ??

Aircraft is it singular or plural ????

Tht's a tragedy dude with non native english people. You can't know everything. Try to answer rest of the questions correctly! Even I am in same situation as you are
